The renewable vortex, one sucked in you never escape
12/16/2019
In reading about the activities of bats which are claimed repeatedly to be killed by giant propellers in the sky that are as big as buildings Superman leaps over AND THEN when he encounters these flying object shredders gets killed, I read these tid bits in my draft electronic mail I was planning to send to a wind farm opposition group,
I see you have 28 bird groups opposing. Can you pass on to them my info. Maybe they could do something here to oppose. I think our environmental report is a sham. I saw numerous things in the SUP that were misleading. I doubt any supervisor even read it or care they are looking at $. No one in government here is listening. We need someone that can go in and take someone to court over this or alert the proper officials to examine this and stop it.
I also read something about another project in Ohio receiving a lot of opposition. It's the same developer we have here sPower owned by AES Corporation which is even installing wind turbines in Hawaii, of all places! The public safety aspect might interest you and may help. It's in regards to Seneca Wind in Ohio. The fire chief made strong points about emergency response and no way to fly in an area that has wind farm.
the letter is here http://dis.puc.state.oh.us/TiffToPDf/A1001001A19K04B60256I01470.pdf
Too bad birds and bats don't also have fire department chiefs to warn them about flying into these massive propellers. Don't bats have sonar though?
Wikipedia states, "They are important in their ecosystems for pollinating flowers and dispersing seeds; many tropical plants depend entirely on bats for these services. Bats consume insect pests, reducing the need for pesticides."
and
"By repeated scanning, bats can mentally construct an accurate image of the environment in which they are moving and of their prey.[85]"
thus this entire argument of protecting bats might be a waste of time. But then there's this,
"Microbats may use their vision for orientation and while travelling between their roosting grounds and feeding grounds, as echolocation is only effective over short distances."
So they obviously do get killed and sucked in to the vortex these monstrosities create.
They also are "subject to predation from birds of prey, such as owls, hawks, and falcons" thus they also draw in these other birds into the renewable energy vortex.
THE RENEWABLE ENERGY VORTEX
I will be using this term more often. It's VORTEX ENERGY. It sucks everything into it never allowing it to escape.
