I just wanted to point out yet another of many claims made by the hucksters in wind turbine industry sales pitches.
They often will at public meetings and news reports respond to the concerns about wind farms killing birds saying that cats kill more birds than wind farms do. "The wind industry claims house cats kill more birds than wind turbines. But cats mainly kill small, common birds like sparrows, robins, and jays, whereas wind turbines kill big, threatened, slow-to-reproduce species like hawks, eagles, owls, and condors."
